ARDA Power and IMERGY Power Systems lay foundation for new era of DC-connected distributed energy: IMERGY commences shipment of ground breaking energy storage system equipped with ARDA Battery DC-DC Converters

ARDA Power and Imergy Power Systems today announced plans for the shipment of Imergy’s ground breaking energy storage system equipped with ARDA Battery DC-DC Converters.  “We are pleased to work closely with IMERGY Power Systems, one of the world’s leading flow battery providers”, noted Aleksey Toporkov, President of ARDA Power. “Our advanced, high efficiency DC-DC converters provide immediate benefits to storage vendors while ensuring compatibility with the ARDA DC Microgrid Platform and other emerging DC microgrid architectures”.

The collaboration will enable Imergy to provide integrated storage solutions for use in a broad range of applications driven by the emerging trend of DC-connected energy. “By integrating ARDA’s advanced Battery DC-DC Converters into our ESP50 Series products we can meet multiple customer requirements with a common platform in a cost effective manner”, said Tim Hennessy, President and Chief Operating Officer of Imergy Power Systems.  Some of the first units will be shipped to a California Energy Commission (CEC) sponsored DC microgrid project at a facility in California.
