Oakville, Ontario ARDA Power today announced the placement of an order by ESS, Inc. for ARDA Battery DC-DC Converters. The Converters will be paired with the ESS All-Iron Flow Battery (IFB) system to be delivered under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The converters and All-Iron Flow Battery (IFB) will be part of an integrated microgrid at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, where they will demonstrate the flexible longer-duration energy storage capability for use in Forward Operating Bases (FOB).
